Why do you tweet about the moon so much?
This comment found it’s way into my Twitter direct message box earlier this week. And it is true. If you follow me on twitter (and if you don’t please do http://twitter.com/soul_whispers ) you know that I often tweet about celestial things. The moon. The stars. The planets. The sky. The clouds. Rainbows.
These celestial tweets are blended together with tweets to inspire and encourage you to know who you truly are. Along with tweets about everyday stuff like health, fitness, social events, food events and what other interesting people say and are up to.
But why spend so much time on the moon?
1. I am born under the sign of Cancer. Which means I am a moon child. The moon has a special pull on me.
2. Let’s face it. The moon effects everyone. It affects nature; the tides of the water. We are made up of 80-90% water and it affects us. Just ask any hospital employee, police officer or retail worker. They will tell you that the phase of the moon has an influence on people.
3. This is the more important reason why I tweet about the moon. Every time I mention how beautiful the moon is, I know that someone takes a pause and looks out the window to gaze upon this beautiful creation. And every time you turn your attention to the sky and notice what it holds, you connect more deeply with who you really are and where you come from.
