During my meditation time the question surfaced, “Why Am I Here?” I was instructed to write down 20 reasons off the top of my head without over thinking it.

I grabbed a piece of paper and just wrote. This is what I came up with.

1. to love

2. to live

3. to help

4. to heal

5. to expand the minds of others

6. to grow as a Soul

7. to enjoy the experiences of life

8. to prepare for future roles in future lives

9. to teach

10. to learn

11. to laugh

12. to nurture

13. to spread joy

15. to inspire and motivate

16. to encourage

17. to make a difference

18. to touch and taste

19. to hug

20. to be

It was an enlightening exercise for at no time did it pop into my head to earn a million dollars, or to write a book or travel to a certain place. I sat with my list meditating a while longer and felt at peace with what I had come up with.

I encourage you to take a few minutes of your day and ask yourself the same question, “Why Am I Here?” and just allow the answers to pour forth without over thinking them.
