In my last blog post we started a process to help you identify any limiting and negative beliefs you may be holding onto in your mind and which are preventing you from achieving your goals.
The questions I asked you to mediate over are questions I ask myself when I feel stuck, unmotivated or frankly just frustrated that I am not getting what I want.
I promise you that if you stick with this process by the end of Part 3 you will know what beliefs you need to change in order to create life on your terms.
If you missed the last post Click Here to get caught up to speed and then come back.
Ready for the next round of questions? Remind yourself of your goal…
Question 4: What would happen if? What is the negative of achieving what you want? Ask yourself, if I get what I want I might have to give up __________ or I might lose ______ or ________ might go wrong. Examine the cost of achieving what you want. What do you fear might happen?
Question 5: What do you get to avoid by having this problem or issue in your life? Another way of saying this is what don’t you want to face?
Question 6: What makes you undeserving of what you want? Fill in the blank: I don’t deserve to have this because __________. You’re first inclination might be to say I feel deserving. If so imagine why you may not be deserving of your goal. Notice the first thing that pops into your mind. See if it resonates.
Once you have answered these six questions you will be well on your way to knowing the beliefs and blocks which are stalling you in one or more areas of your life.
As one person wrote in a email to me, “These questions are really forcing me to dig deep and acknowledge everything I haven’t wanted to deal with but I know I need to. Thank you.”
Stay tuned for Part 3.
