Let’s face it, no matter who we are, how confident we are or what we do in life, there comes a time when we walk a fine line between throwing our hands up in defeat and moving on or recommitting to our goals and moving on.

Sometimes all it takes is a God Wink to let us know that we are on the right track.  A God Wink is the kind of encouragement we need to keep pursuing our dreams and goals.

A few weeks ago one of my most dearest friends Kelly Bouchard gave me a book;  just because. The book? When God Winks on Love by Squire Rushnell. He also wrote the book When God Winks which I had previously read.

Rushnell defines a God Wink as a personal signal or message directly from a higher power, usually, but not always, in the form of a coincidence. He goes onto to say that a God Wink is not sent to push or pull you in a certain direction or command an action but rather as a signpost of reassurance.

The book is a wonderful easy read and was comforting as I remembered and acknowledged all the God Winks I have received not only over the past year but throughout my lifetime. Reassuring.

Last night I got another God Wink.

During the course of a workshop I was hosting, I asked the participants this question. “What phrase will you repeat to yourself in 2011 when you stumble in the pursuit of your dream/goal?”

One beautiful soul said, “You’re Almost There Girl,” which just happens to be the title of my current keynote address. This lovely lady had heard me speak a few months back and the phrase “You’re Almost There Girl” resonated with her. In fact she said she repeats it when she needs inner encouragement to keep on keeping on.

I got shivers. My Soul jumped up in glee. Some part of myself said, “It’s a God Wink.” It was a gentle, out of the blue, sincere reassurance that I am on track with my focus and my keynote. It was the nudge I needed to continue to spread the word to not only women but to anyone, that You’re Almost There..You Can Make A Leap From Where You Are To Where You Want to Be.

I went home basking in the glory of my God Wink.

God is winking at you too. You just have to notice.

~Love, Esther
