Friday September 23rd is the Equinox. The Fall Equinox for those of us living in the northern hemisphere and the Spring Equinox for those living in the south.
The Equinox happens twice a year when day and night are nearly equal.
It’s a reminder to us from the Universe that balance is part of the life cycle. There is life and death. Rain and drought. Hot and cold. Joy and sadness. Polar opposites creating in the middle, balance.
The Equinox also ushers in a new energy across the planet. It encourages us and in some instances creates circumstances to force us into integrating what we have learned during the past few months so that we can move onto new adventures.
The energy of this event also nudges us to release what we no longer need. Re-align with new ideas, thoughts and patterns. Review what has worked and what doesn’t. And generally take stock to see if we are still on track or if adjustments need to be made in our lives.
During this Fall Equinox take some time to be quiet and still. Reflect upon your life, your plans and current situation. Use the energy of the day to let go, adjust and set new things into motion.
As day and night are balancing, take the time to equalize and harmonize your soul.
