This is a fabulous question and I have asked it to myself and others many times over the years. It pops up frequently when you feel you have done everything you can think of to move  forward or resolve an issue and nothing seems to be working.  At this point you most likely plop yourself down in a chair, sigh and say to yourself, “What do I do now?”

When I have reached this point there are two courses that I take and I use my intuition and Universal guidance to help me decide which one.

1. There is a beautiful Bible verse that says: Be still and know I am God. Psalm 46:10. From my church days to my current days I still rest in this verse when I don’t know what to do next.

My interpretation of this verse is: relax and take a breath; stop working things out in your head and allow God/Universe to figure it out. Universe knows the desires of your heart and what you are wanting and working on. God can see the bigger picture and knows exactly what you need not only for today but also for tomorrow and the next day.

To me this verse means stop being so hard on yourself and go have some fun. It doesn’t mean giving up or throwing your hands up in defeat. It means take a breather, step aside and let God/Universe take over.

This course requires strong beliefs of trust in the Universe and the unknown; being okay with not being in control and knowing that all things work together for good. Stepping aside and letting Universe do its thing means surrendering to God and believing with all your heart, soul and mind that the Universe is conspiring on your behalf to bring you the people, resources and information you need even when you can’t  feel or see it.

Surrendering in this way requires deep faith and trust in all that is.

When I take this route I find that the pressure in my chest releases.

My highly charged emotional state neutralizes.

I am able to think more  clearly and joy begins to seep back into the situation and into my life.

Then in Divine timing the answers come and the next step is clearly laid out for me.

Many people I talk to on a daily basis ask me this question: ”How do I find my purpose? and/or What is my purpose?”

The Tribunal my channeling guides often answer by saying, “Your purpose is whatever has been presented to you at any given moment.”

I tell people that my purpose found me. I wasn’t looking for it.

And yet many continue to stress about their life’s purpose which is an energy that only keeps your purpose bay.

But there is good news!

On February 3rd the planet Neptune shifts into its home sign of Pisces and will stay there for 14 years. This is very significant for all of us. I encourage you to find a good horoscope and see what this means specifically for your particular birth sign however there are some general aspects to this change which will effect everyone across the planet.

Neptune rules the subconscious. As it reconnects with Pisces it will help all of us on planet earth to explore our inner world. For some this might be troubling as issues rise from the depths for change and transformation. For others who have been doing their inner work and embrace the spiritual journey, this move will further aid in the cleansing and purging process.

The new position of Neptune will help us to explore the worlds of dreams, spirits and mysticism. On a global scale it will influence many areas such as spirituality, the arts, music, charity and entertainment.

For us holistic healers this is fabulous news because finally we will get the recognition that we deserve as more and more people will be open to and drawn to spiritual and holistic modalities for healing.

Neptune in Pisces will also assist us in connecting with our higher purpose as individuals, countries and on a global scale.

Universal love will be a focus along with a push towards greater self love and acceptance.

This shift that is happening  February 3rd is a big one. We will notice the effects immediately and they will linger and stay with us for 14 years.

Is it any wonder that so much attention has been placed on 2012 as being a time of a great change on planet earth?

I just received an email alert that  an X Class Solar Flare, the strongest one this year has erupted from the same area of the sun that experienced solar flare bursts earlier this week.

Remember how we all felt just a few days ago? Most of us experienced extreme fatigue, loss of concentration and a general feeling of being zapped. There were a few who felt energized. The effects of the flares hit us all differently depending on our needs and where we are in our ascension process. Some people might not feel a thing and that is perfectly normal as well.

Many people and businesses also experienced problems with technology and more then one person I know had some of their electronic equipment completely fizzle out.

More of the same is heading our way.

Again I tell you this not to frighten you for fear is an unhealthy and unproductive way of being. Rather my intention is to inform you so that you have an idea of what is happening in the world around you and how to deal with it.

I believe that these solar flares are very significant and an essential part of The Shift  and the 2012 transition.

The Tribunal my channeling guides tell me that the energy from the flares are assisting us in the ascension process, changing our DNA and lifting us into higher consciousness and dimensions.

Good news for those who are ready and wanting the change. Uncomfortable for those who continue to hold onto old, outdated and limiting ways of thinking and being.

What can you do?

 Go with the flow and allow the energy to help you to release what you need and want to.

Stop arguing for your limitations. Rest, hydrate and ground yourself. As I mentioned earlier this week on a face book post, walking barefoot on the earth is highly beneficial.

Just as a good wine needs time to breathe in order to develop flavors, a steak needs to rest for five minutes before serving in order to keep the meat juicy and a cake needs to cool before frosting,  you too need to take some time to breathe, rest and cool off.

Sometimes in the busyness of life and the quest of reaching for goals we forget to stop and rest.

A nap in the middle of the days seems like an indulgence.

A free afternoon of play feels naughty when there is a pile of things to do stacked up by your computer.

A short meditation seems like a nuisance when you have a deadline to meet.

But sometimes we need to stop and recharge in order to get the results we seek.

Rushing creates mistakes, missed opportunities, accidents and slips.

Slowing down to breathe, rest and cool off allows new ideas to pop up, clarity to surface, confirmation that you are on the right track to emerge and allows you to enjoy the journey.

Often just a short five minute break can alter your day in a positive way. Whether you close your eyes, take some deep breathes or simply gaze out the window a pause in your busy routine will return you to a state of presence and well being. It is here in this more calm and collected state that the pieces fall into place; the magic surfaces.

If you find yourself challenged to take even a short break in the middle of your busy day may I suggest limiting beliefs and perceptions are at hand. Beliefs such as: I don’t have the time to take a break. People will think I am lazy. People will think I am not responsbile. Taking a break won’t do any good. Or you fill in the blank ________ as you know best what you have been telling yourself.

Change those beliefs and you’ll find  the freedom of a breather in the middle of the day to be a blessing rather then a curse.

In fact start now. Close your eyes. Take a breath and for just a couple of minutes day dream about something fabulous.

sometimes in the quest of living life and reaching for goals you need to rest too

One of the most frequently asked questions I field is:

What does it mean when I see double and triple numbers especially

  1-1-1 and 4-4-4.

Seeing doubles and triplicates of the same number is not a new phenomena but more and more people are taking notice and want to know the significance. And yes there is a significance to this occurrence which is unique to each individual.

When someone asks me the above question they typically check out a website or a book which outlines the meaning of a specific number. This is a great place to start. Numerology is a fascinating arena and I use it often in my life. In fact I used it when coming up with the name of my new website You’re Almost There Girl.

Once that step has been taken I encourage individuals to go deeper and discover what the number or sequence of numbers means specifically to them. To learn what is their own private message. Generalizations are a nice jumping off point but I believe and utilize in my therapy practice and beyond, the practice of guiding each person to an understanding of what something means specifically to them.

Allow me to give you some examples from my own life.

Previously whenever I saw 11 or 444 or 5678 it was a signal to me that everything was lining up in my life.

Last year around November 11th when I saw 11-11 it was a sign that I needed to take notice of the significance of that date in regards to the The Shift of consciousness around the world.

Now when I see one’s lining up it’s my inner self telling me that what I anchored and shifted during 11-11 has integrated and I need to take time to reflect and validate the changes.

Previously whenever I saw 444 or 44 it was a sign to me that angels were close by. I took great comfort in this sign knowing that the angels had my back and were working on my behalf in challenging situations in my life.

Now when I see 44 or 444 there is a whole different meaning attached. Currently my spirit shows me these numbers to tell me that I am fully anchored in the 4th dimension. Then within a couple of hours somewhere, somehow I see 55 or 555 and that is my inner self saying, “And you are catapulting into the 5th dimension.” I feel this jump even though it is a bit wobbly at times. The confirmation that the jump is happening is encouraging.

The number five had always been my favorite number and I associate magic and mysticism with it. I still do and now with the added bonus of the message of 5th dimension living,  I find the number five a very magical number.

The number eight to me is the number of abundance. I love seeing those digits.

Nine is my life path number and according to numerology is the number of completion. When I see that number pop up in my life I know I am completing a cycle or a pattern.

Seven, well I was born on 07/07 so this number has always had a special place in my heart.  I associate the collective conscious belief of lucky number seven with it. Seven is also referenced at times to being God’s perfect number.

When I see a series of three’s to me that is a sign of Divinity.

As you can see in my life when I see double and triple numbers they hold a variety of meanings. Some line up with numerology and many meanings are unique to me and my life journey. The significance of these numbers is given to me  by Universe, my inner self and The Tribunal help out when I ask.

If you are one who also encounters double and triple numbers in your daily life I suggest that you move beyond the books and the websites which talk about such things and check in with yourself  to see what the numbers mean specifically to you. I guarantee there are unqiue messages at hand which will encourage you and continue to gently guide you forward in life.

Two years ago I moved into what I would call my dream condo. I figured I would live here for several years because it was the culmination of many of my intentions and a wonderful manifestation.

Then in November I began to get the nudge to move. The nudge was more like a whisper trying to get me to be open to the possibility of leaving my space for something very different. At first I rebelled and resisted the whisper but it kept coming. There were many limiting beliefs, fears and outdated perspectives I had to acknowledge and release just to get to the point of being open to the possibility of moving.

Once I finally declared to the Universe: I love where I live but I am willing to move where you feel I am able to best serve, I began to feel calm and at peace with whatever might transpire.

At the same time many of my light-worker/energy worker friends were telling me that they too were feeling a need to move. It appeared that the nudges were coming out of nowhere. In fact two people I know packed up their homes and moved to far away locations within a couple of weeks of getting the call.

I posted the question on face book and twitter: Are You Getting The Nudge To Move?

I was surprised by how many people responded with a yes. Many like myself said it didn’t make sense to them and one person who had just moved said she is thinking about moving again.

I took notice of this interesting phenomena and addressed it with the Tribunal my channeling guides. What they told me was that Universe is moving people into position for where they need to be to best serve mankind during this pivotal time on planet earth. They said that many people are not living where their tribe is and are missing out on the opportunity to be of service to the degree they have been wanting and asking for.

The Tribunal said in particular they were referencing those we refer to as light-workers, people dedicated to helping others live more consciously, in the light and in their magnificence.

I asked The Tribunal if the urge to move was because we had lessons to learn in the new location. They said that there are always lessons to be learned but in this particular phase Universe is placing Souls exactly where they need to be for the service of others.

Because my nudge has been to move to a quiet country like setting, something which has never appealed to me, I asked what will happen if we get the call and don’t make the move?

The Tribunal answered that  we all have choice and there are no right or wrong decisions. Universe works with whatever we do however to heed the call at this time would be highly beneficial.

Soon after I caught myself negotiating with Universe announcing that I will move but it has to be somewhere warm, with activity and people, a fabulous view and great energy. Quickly I realized that I was exerting a controlling energy and that Universe knows my likes and dislikes and always works with me to give me exactly what I need even if I don’t know at the time that I need it. I also realized if Universe is placing me where I am needed that was most important.

At this point I don’t know when or where I will be moving or even if.  I feel for me I first had to get the point of allowing the idea of moving.

If you are feeling the nudge to move,  whether it is down the street, to the next city or clear across the land, I encourage you to meditate, pray, go inside of yourself to see where this nudge is coming from and what is all about. Address any fears or concerns which arise and get yourself to the place where at least you are open to the possibility. It is right there, when you are open to the possibility that miracles happen.

Just before Christmas I wrote an article for Yummy Mummy Club to help inspire mummies everywhere that connecting with your intuition is not only beneficial but easy. Erica Ehm founder of Yummy Mummy Club liked it so much she posted it on their website.

If you had access to a resource where you could find the answer to all of your questions, you would want it, wouldn’t you? The idea is not so far-fetched. You do have that resource—it’s your intuition and it comes from within.

Intuition is a source of information that is reliable and available at your fingertips. It defies rationality or reasoning. It’s that feeling of, ”I don’t know what it is, but something is telling me…”

I like to call intuition our internal guidance system. It comes from deep inside you and its purpose is to guide you in all aspects of life. If you ever had a hunch, sense or gut feeling these are all indicators that you are accessing your intuition and it’s talking.

Our intuition gives us valuable information like, “Yes go for it.” or “No the timing is wrong.” Sometimes our intuition will nudge us to turn left when we are about to turn right or it urges us to pick up our cell phone and call a loved one who just happens to need an encouraging word at that very moment.

Our intuition knows juicy information and it’s willing to share. The problem is that many of us have a hard time figuring out what it’s trying to say.

During my meditation time the question surfaced, “Why Am I Here?” I was instructed to write down 20 reasons off the top of my head without over thinking it.

I grabbed a piece of paper and just wrote. This is what I came up with.

1. to love

2. to live

3. to help

4. to heal

5. to expand the minds of others

6. to grow as a Soul

7. to enjoy the experiences of life

8. to prepare for future roles in future lives

9. to teach

10. to learn

11. to laugh

12. to nurture

13. to spread joy

15. to inspire and motivate

16. to encourage

17. to make a difference

18. to touch and taste

19. to hug

20. to be

It was an enlightening exercise for at no time did it pop into my head to earn a million dollars, or to write a book or travel to a certain place. I sat with my list meditating a while longer and felt at peace with what I had come up with.

I encourage you to take a few minutes of your day and ask yourself the same question, “Why Am I Here?” and just allow the answers to pour forth without over thinking them.

2012 The Tribunal’s Message

2011 didn’t turn out the way you expected or hoped for? We can all relate on some level for each and everyone of us end 2011 with some goals and dreams achieved, some still in motion and others sitting on the shelf collecting dust.

But wait there is good news! Don’t be discouraged if 2011 didn’t turn out the way you planned because 2012 ushers in new opportunity to complete what has been set into motion and to jump start those goals and dreams sitting on the sidelines.

We all know that setting goals and intentions can be done at any time of the year but for many there is something about the energy of the new year that gets us all revved up and ready to go.

This is not a post about resolutions and tips on how to keep them. Rather today I want to whisper something to you so softly and yet so loud that every cell of your being will absorb it, resonate with it and create a call to action.

Everything You Seek Is Seeking You.

As soon as you think a thought, touch on a dream, set an intention and/or write down a goal you vibrate with that thing you are seeking. The very second you think a thought, that thought creates a vibration it is the Law of the Universe. Then the Universe jumps into action attracting to you the very thing you are thinking about.

So you see the very thing you are thinking about, intending or visualizing is seeking you the moment you place your intention upon it because of energy and law of vibration. Like attracts like, good or bad every time.

Thoughts are energy and hold a vibration. In fact everything in the universe is energy and has a vibration including the chair you are sitting on, the computer mouse in your hand, the food you are snacking on and well…. YOU.

Like energy and vibrations are attracted to one another. This is why we have sayings like: birds of a feather flock together. This is why singles hang out with singles, those wanting to lose weight join weight loss clubs and creative people band together in creativity.

There are many great books you can read to learn about The Law of Attraction if this is new information to you. My favorite  is Ask and It Is Given by Esther Hicks and Abraham.

In meantime remember Everything You Seek Is Seeking You. Once you have a thought about it the Universe sets in motion people, circumstances and information to help you connect with what you are thinking about.

Your job is to  stay focused on your goal so what you are seeking finds you. That means overcome your fears. Release and change your limiting beliefs. Replace low self confidence with loads of confidence and bring down the obstacles standing in your way.

The energy of 2012 is supporting you and people like myself are here to help you along the way.

2012 opens the door to all possibilities. 2012 has the potential of becoming the best year of your life, the year you have been waiting for when all the pieces fall into place.  You get to choose.
