Who Or What Is God?

During a recent Evening with Esther Channeling The Tribunal, this question, “Who or What is God?” was asked by one of the participants. Here’s what The Tribunal had to say.

Who or What is God?

“Well it is a simple question for God is All That Is. And so you say to us that is too simple of an answer. What do you mean by God is All That Is?

And we answer and say that God is simply energy and the energy is love and the energy is light. This energy, this All That Is, is your source. It is where you have come from, it is you, it is your essence, it is the holy spirit so to speak. It is All That Is. It is love. It is compassion.

It is very important for you to understand that you are God. This is a troublesome concept for many of those living upon Planet Earth to understand because of the dogma and doctrines of religions and organizations which tell you that you are separate from God.

But we are here to tell you that you are not separate from God. You are God.

You are a piece of God that has come upon the planet to love, experience, smell, grow, experience emotion. God in his energetic state is unable to do this in the Universe.

And so we say to you that you are all attached to the Universe. You are pieces and aspects of this source energy that you refer to as God.

Imagine God contemplating and saying to himself, “I have created this planet Earth and I want to go to it and experience what it is like. I want to see a sunset, smell a flower, eat food, ride a horse, hear the sound of the waves but I cannot do it in my form.”

“Are there any of you amongst me who would like to volunteer to go down to the planet in a human body so that through you I may experience these things and grow and learn?” asked God to each and everyone of you.

And each of you, volunteered to come to the planet. So in this aspect you are connected to God and you are also helping God– All That Is, to grow and become more of its essence. You are very important to the learning and the expansion of that which you call  God.

What we will say is that God is not a man sitting in judgement on a throne in the sky. This is important to understand.

Do you understand what we speak of when we say these words?”

  1. You state:

“Imagine God contemplating and saying to himself, “I have created this planet Earth and I want to go to it and experience what it is like. I want to see a sunset, smell a flower, eat food, ride a horse, hear the sound of the waves but I cannot do it in my form.””

Does God also say, “I want to starve in Africa, be raped in Iran, be born with heart defects that can not be repaired in Canada?”

My 17 year old daughter was born with heart defects that can’t be repaired. She is an atheist. She says, “If god exists, why do I go thru this?” She’s had 3 heart operations. And just this past weekend, she was air-lifted to hospital were we almost lost her.

I believe in god, but she doesn’t. She’s angry. How do I explain god to her?

    • Thank you Sandra for being so real and honest in your post. My heart goes out to you and your daughter. Please keep in mind that the words in the post are not mine they come from The Tribunal my channeling guides, universal energies.
I personally believe much of what they spoke of and I understand how hard it can be to hear these words. I come from a fundamental Christian background where I was taught a very different understanding of God and after too much growth, awareness and searching on my part to be open to other concepts.
If you are open to a phone conversation I can offer you my thoughts on your post but as I said they may be challenging to hear. I appreciate you being open to read The Tribunals words.
      Love, Esther

    • You are so right Sandra when you ask:
‘Does God also say, “I want to starve in Africa, be raped in Iran, be born with heart defects that can not be repaired in Canada?”‘

IF God is All, as the guides say, then God can’t just be love, light and compassion. God must also be the pain and the suffering. God must be the rapist as well as the victim of rape. God must be the Devil. God must be the lie as well as the truth: “All is One.”

The question your daughter asks, justifiably, is “why me?”. Currently she answers the question with anger and atheism. And I think atheists believe suffering/evil is all just random chance, rotten luck, and imperfect nature. (It’s weird, but most atheists say “IF God exists, and God is all-powerful, then why does God let evil and suffering exist?”. I personally believe people adopt atheism as a belief system when they are angry at – or do not comprehend – God, nature or others.)

What may provide some comfort for your daughter is for her to realise that she is not alone – others are there for her, thinking of her, praying for her, feeling compassion for her; and some have even been through the same ordeal she is going through. She is not alone, even if she feels or thinks she is.

If she is open to philosophy, she may like to consider the myth of the christ: god came to earth as a human to experience all human suffering – and to “believe” in christ is to forgive god and others for evil and to find our own love and forgiveness in the process. (By the way, to “believe in christ” does not imply you have to believe everything “christians” say is true!)

I do hope for your daughter, that whether she is an atheist or not, she will be able to find acceptance, understanding, and peace within herself – and be able to develop compassion and love for others who suffer.

Absolutely incredible! Loved reading this. But, being catholic, I truly have been raised to believe that we are one with God, through receiving Holy Communion and the Holy Spirit upon our Confirmation, so really, this still speaks to the truth of that. I really love the simplistic way this was relayed…thank you!
